    I had excellent luck freshening up my series 3 steering wheel and one from a Morris Minor (similar to a series 2 wheel) using JB Weld to fill the cracks, then painting with a high quality, 2 part urethane paint. Perhaps I should get into the steering wheel repair business....PM me if you want to be customer number 1! ha!

    I put one on my 88". I used the JB weld also, then sanded and painted it.

    The problem with the Banjo wheel is that you will also need a SII steering column (the IIA ones won't work). Those are as hard if not harder to find than the wheel. I got lucky and found an NOS one for $300. That was in 2004...
