    Default LS swapped 1960 S2 88

    Series Truck
    1960 Series 2 88
    -original frame, rust repaired: replaced rear cross member, fabricated new front frame horns and replaced cross member, sandblasted and hot dip galvanized
    -bulkhead was sandblasted and lower legs/foot wells were replaced. Epoxy primed, then sprayed with epoxy paint (not a very good match) interior cavity soaked with cavity wax as well
    -1/4” wall front winch bumper with Warn M8000, rock sliders both galvanized
    -discovery 1 disc brake 24 spline axles stripped and converted to leaf suspension, YJ front leaf pack
    -four new bilstein 5150 shocks
    -recent calipers and rotors the whole way around, stainless steel braided brake lines
    -stock gears with Detroit locker in rear
    -steering: original upper column cut and machined to accept stainless U joints-no welding ,converted to Heim joints on axle using P38 power steering box, steering works very nice.
    -Gen 3 LS 4.8 vortec truck engine swapped, donor was 2002 Chevy truck w/105k, factory harness was thinned down to stand alone, stock pcm unlocked but not tuned. Runs excellent
    -new alternator
    -new water pump & thermostat
    -stock replacement fuel tank converted to in-tank pump, all quality -AN fittings in fuel system
    -transmission is a low mile SM465 4spd from a 1968 3/4 ton gmc truck, it has been recently professionally rebuilt and converted to a hydraulic clutch
    -adapted to the stock transfer case, which has resealed & new roamer drive cover

    -exhaust is 2.5” stainless steel 2 into 1 w/flowmaster, tucked up high
    -radiator is a big tube Griffin with dual fans controlled by the pcm
    -the body harness is a brand new EZ wire harness

    • -wolf wheels w/36” Michelin XL’s. Full spare. Tires have plenty of tread left (/32”) and ride great but do have some tiny cracking (I bought them like this) they have not lost any air ever. I you don’t like the Michelin’s the truck can be sold with a set of (4) 35x12.5x16 intercooler super Swamper LTB’s in excellent shape on wolf wheels with a bare steel spare rim
    • -newer style seats and tuffy console in great shape
    • -both windshields have been replaced, new wiper arms/blades
    • -both wiper motors recently serviced
    • -brand new exmoor soft top
    • -replacement Aluminum heater core, fitted to a Kodiak MK3 distribution box
    • Truck runs and drives great, very fun to drive. Looking for 26k hoxie173@gmailClick image for larger version.
