That is a cool truck. I like the crusty mildewiness of it. Bet it smelled like a musty basement full of wet carpet!

Some guy asked me about the 109 the other day- some days I want to talk and some days I think, "Call it a Land Cruiser and I'll run you over..." anyway he caught me on a good day and knew what it was...ten minutes later he mentioned he had an 88 he wants to be rid of...so I'll go see it next week.
Not that I have anywhere to put it or free time to work on it.

It could be worse, guys. Some people collect stray cats...some collect pinball machines...If it's gonna be noisy or smelly it might as well be a Rover!

I have always wanted to own 2, maybe 3 good land Rovers. I'm well on my way, as I am down to 6.

Looks pretty straight- all there too. But that bulkhead looks potentially fugly.

The price of scrap is way up right now so people are actually looking for old abandoned vehicles to take to the crusher. I know of several woods rats who go around and ask people id they want their old crap trucked away just so they can fill scrap them.

In times like this many old Rovers meet their doom.
