Default Need Accelerator Linkage Adjustment Help

After two days of trying different combinations I have realized I need some help with the adjustment of the Accelerator linkage for an 69 IIA SW.
I have all the parts and they are in the right place. But, I can not seem to get the linkage adjusted to get a “full” pedal. I use a Zenith Carb.

    Thanks in advance

You may have to loosen the pinch bolt on the lever which attaches to the pedal shaft, where it passes through the tunnel. Then lift up on the pedal and retighten the bolt.

Thanks - it is a ratio issue between the three levers on the bulkhead. Three inches of travel from the pedal gets reduced to "X" amount of an inch at the first lever then released at the second lever "y", then increases to 2 1/2 inch of travel at the carb. I tried algerbra to find "X" and "Y" - but didin't work. So now it is trial an error. This is on a re-build. I took it off about a year ago and wrote it down on the bulkhead. When I had the bulkhead paintes - well - you get the picture. LOL

    I went through the samething.
Than I found that the bolts holding the pedal bracket to the floor was loose.
Check all the linkage mounting bracket bolts.
This was causing some lost motion in the pedal.
After thightening it up the carb butterfly opened 100%.

mine is fitted with a weber 2 barrel 32/36 dgv. when i picked it up the po had bent the linkage and fiddle with the mix to get it to idle and run. there wasn't enough travel to kick open the 2ndary. i rotated the carb 90 degrees and mod'd the lingage so that the idle was an idle and not some weird idle mix combo resulting in about 850 rpms. i found that i had to mod the linkage so that the pedal movememt smoothly rotated the carb's lever through it's full range. bunch of trial and error but i got it. start with connecting it such that there is no force on the carb lever when your pedal's at rest then move the linkage to lever point out to get that full range of movement.

    Default Idle RPMs

Exactly at what RPMs is a Series Rover supposed to idle at?
    Thanks,
