    Default Foul Smelling Clutch

I have a strange problem...occasionally when clutching, particularly around a corner, and at low speeds, I get a strong foul smell in the cab of the 109.

It's like standing water, rancid garbage, rotten broccoli... you get the idea.

Having impeccable personal hygiene, I have ruled out myself as a source.

The clutch is a year old, works great, and the smell is NOT the characteristic burnt clutch.

I do have one suspicion of what the problem is but I would like to hear "the learned opinions of the Rover minions".

    Thanks

    Mo

No, no wading plug. And I haven't waded since April.

Is it a burning smell? Could anything be dripping onto the exhaust pipe when you go around a corner?

No, not burning, like I said, it is rancid, think standing water, garbage, wet gym socks, etc.

    Nothing dripping on the exhaust.
