Based on info I've gotten from the Series 2 Club forum mine is not an uncommon problem with replaced engines. They told me to loosen the dipstick tube locknut and turn the tube out until I get the correct reading on the dipstick using the correct amount of oil and then tighten the locknut again. I'm going to give it a shot once I get a set of crowsfoot wrenches.
Good to know! Thanks for letting us know what you found out! Just remember to take into account how much the oil cooler holds.
