    Default seats and sound

Is there any difference between the rear inward facing bench seats as far as fit? Are they all the same size?

I know it is sacrilige, but am considering putting a stereo in my Series 109 SW. Any recommendations for particular speakers and placement of same? Photos would be excellant. Would probably purchase Tuffy Cubby to put stereo unit in.

sacreligious only to the purist (and there's nothing wrong with going that way). i've got my am/fm cd player and xm recvr' mounted in an ammo can in the tub agaist bulkhead behind the passenger, my speakers are alpine marine grade 300 watt and the sit in a cargo net suspended from the rear and mid hoops of my iia 88. i fashion an antena mount to the rear of the passenger door overhead.

I put an ordinary Blaupunkt in a small custom made box up against the roofline right over the rearview mirror. 6" speakers in the dash on the left and right hand ends. (Sorry, no pictures right now.) The wires run up either windshield pillar left and right, and the radio power wires can be put in behind the center metal strip of the windshield. Having said that, my radio has grounding issues, so be sure you have good ground and good connections.

To those who have installed a stereo, where did you tie in the power cord.
