    Default Series Front Axle Upgrades

    Has anyone converted a series front axle to disc brakes? I've seen some of the conversions out there but am put off by the price and would kind of like to experiment with a spare 88 front axle I have kicking around. I have toyed with the idea of using RRC 10 spline or Disco I 24 spline hubs and brakes adapted to a series inner housing with custom adapters. I'd like to keep it all LR parts for ease of upgrades. Not sure how to get the steering linkages to fit though. Whatever I do come up with will be going on a Stage 1 109. Any suggestions/thoughts/concerns are welcomed.
