    Default Alternator hum's on 95 classic 4.2 LWB

    After turning off the Rover after driving, my alternator hums. If I disconnect the battery the hum goes away but if I reconnect the battery it comes back. The hum is gone by the morning. The alternator puts out the correct voltage but if I let the Rover set for a few days with out starting the Battery gets weak or goes dead. The battery is new and is Napa's best plus I have no after market items added to the Rover.

    Any help would be great!

    PS I was able to messure the current draw of just the alternator and is .27 amps. Is this normal?
    Replaced the alternator, all is well.
