Default 1973 (NADA) Series III 88" For Sale - SOLD

Though I hate the thought of parting with this vehicle, family circumstances dictate otherwise. I have owned it for 10 years. I rebuilt it from the ground up. I used stainless steel or galvanized hardware where ever possible. The 2.25 liter petrol motor and transmission units are from a Series IIA (non-syncro 1st gear). She runs very well and doesn't burn oil, clunk or jump out of gear. It has a Fairey overdrive and Fairey free wheeling hubs. It comes with full galvanized roof rack and ladder. All electrics are in good working order, including Smiths heater, wiper/washer, signals, lights, horn, interior lamp, dash lamps, etc. All the amber signal, side marker, rear brake and reverse lenses are original NADA. The front clear markers are newer units. It has the original inward facing rear bench seats. The front seats were replaced with high backs. The front seat and lap belts (static) are original Britax. It is equipped with an AM/FM RADIO with door and roof speakers. It also has a 40 channel CB radio.

Included is the original owners manual, folder and Layland brochures, parts manual, repair manual and sales pamphlet.

The chassis is a solid steel replacement. It has had no patching or welding done. It has never been "bush-bashed" (got my fill in the army). It has been plated, insured and driven since restoration. I relied on this Landy to get me to work for part of the year. For a detailed list of the restoration work done, please e-mail me (grace.chen@sympatico.ca). I have all my receipts since day 1. I would like to sell this car to an appreciative enthusiast. If you intend on using it as a plough, don't even ask.

    Price: $10,000.00
