    James,
Great looking pup you got there. FWIW I'm going to post pictures of my Rover. What I brought home and what it looks like today. What you can't see is the 2.5NAD, Roverdrive,ROAM front discs,GBR axles and greaseable bushings or a multitude of other little things I have done

That's for sure! Hold him while you can.

Yup, that's the four Rovers. (L->R) Amelie, Sly and Enzo. We're just dog sitting Sly the Berner.

Right on! Our Berner turned 7 on Saturday. They are a great breed.

It is awesome to see others who love the breed as much as my family does! We had to put down our first Berner this summer due to Degenerative Myocitis. He was only 5 and a half, so he was taken much too soon. We considered other breeds, I have had a lab and a golden in the past, but there is something about the Berner personality that just wins you over.

I've been prepping him to be my hiking companion, and he will be carrying his own backpack as soon as he gets to be 18 months old. He seems to like the old rover pretty well, so with any luck he will become a great dog!

Fresh from the Pangolin shop in Oregon, here are a couple of photos from my weekend trip bringing my 88 to San Francisco. Ike did an amazing job!
