Hey new here, This my 65 IIa. Hopefully it will have the soft top on it next month and I can get it driving more consistently.

    nice and clean.

just needs some OG rims/tires and side mirrors and you're golden.

Yeah, the rims and tires should be in the near future and I just haven't gotten around to ordering the mirrors... The other Rovers are taking my cash flow right now.

That's a nice example. Don't worry about the wheels or mirror. Drive it as is and replace what falls off. Eventually it will be back to stock.

i mostly agree with you here. except for the simple fact that chrome has absolutely no place on an LR (and that goes for the first Series I to the current model year) especially when we're talking about rims.

oh and AU88, let me know if you want to sell that steering wheel...

I somewhat agree with the chrome, in certain places it looks great, in others no. Those wheels are awful and need to go. Why would I want to sell the steering wheel?

I think early 2As look super in grey, but I hate painted galvy. Can't see what style the rims are, but you could always sandblast and paint them Limestone. Driving a windlowless RHD HT is fun, huh?
