Odd Question, need help !

I am hoping that someone could help me out here. I'm picking up a 1972 Series III in the next two weeks. I found a company that reproduces any country's license plates. I want UK plates that represent a Rover from Solihull. BUT, being that I'm an American I know nothing about UK license plates and have no idea what letters & number should be included. Added to the confusion is the smaller rear square UK plate.

Any Brits out there that can help me out ????

My buddy left his plate on his Jaguar. We don't need front plates here in Okie land so it's not there. I would suggest you get a number you can register as a personalized tag. That's what we do here.
