Default What's your favorite retro rallye car?

My hands down favorite retro rallye cars are:

    - 1964 Classic Mini Cooper S

    - 1973 Porsche Carrera RSR 2.7 tarmac rallye spec

    - 1985 Renault R5 Maxi turbo

Of particular note, this exact same ^^^ livery Renault R5 maxi turbo rallye is one of the cars in Gran Turismo 4 and just an absolute hoot to drive flat out. In Arcade mode you can bump up the horsepower to 420+ and experience the best throttle-lift oversteer in the world, all in the comfort of your home! The sound is amazing.

    - 1983 Audi ur-quattro A2 rallye spec

    - 1985 Porsche 911SCRS 3.0

    - 1995 Peugeot 306 Maxi

Here is an example of the youtube feature

    Default Pa Taket

My favorites are the 1960's SAABs, particularly with interest in Eric Carlsson's career:

I concur on the old Mini's being great. I enjoy my Impreza (though it's not vintage)....

And, Porsche's are cool, of course, but....

I'd give my eye-teeth for a Giulia Sprint.....

Bruce Turk, the President of the Vintage Saab Club of North America is an ice racer across Lake Champlain in the AMEC NY club historic class that races his vintage air cooled FWD SAAB. You must know of this uber kewl SAAB?

I am looking for a vintage SAAB of that era for fun and amateur ralley races. So far they have eluded me and I'm kind of up to my eyeballs in LR projects which hasn't helped.

I'd almost settle for a 99turbo- I missed out on a nice ralley prepped one a number of years ago. I'd really prefer a 2 stroke or V4 though.
