Disco 1 rear door speaker options

Hello,

The two speakers in the rear door of my 1994 Disco 1 are shot. I think they are facotry subs. Can anyone suggest a good replacment. The truck has the stock stereo with the multi disk changer under the seat.

Thanks for the info Les. I will consider it.

Has anyone fit a other than stock sub back there. It looks like it would require modification to the 6.5" holes.

i have the same problem in my 1998 dico.
i just purchased an infiniti powered sub that i will put in a jumpseat spot. Also, i think im going to put 2-way 6.5 speakers in the rear door?
I will let you know how the project works out.
