Oil leak

I seem to be leaking oil around the oil pressure switch above the oil filter in a 96 V8 discovery. Is there suppose to be a crush washer or some sensor sealant here? I haven't touched anything in this area. I was also wondering if the oil filter mount has any leaking issues

Depending on when it started leaking, I would check to make sure that someone didn't leave the old rubber seal on the oil filter.

Of course my 97 leaks oil all over the place... between that and mud I stays together pretty well.
