something with a high zinc, or a additive for new engines to keep the camshaft happy.
I use Kendall 20w50 racing oil, it has 1200 ppm of zinc
I bought some oil additive once that can be used in any oil to restore the zinc .

The Land Rover power steering uses ATF. As previously posted I use Mobile 1 synthetic ATF for all of my ATF needs.
Land Rover recommends DOT 4 brake fluid. I typically use NAPA's brand. Do NOT use synthetic brake fluid, the seals are not up to the task. This is typically labeled as a DOT 5.
