Default gauges and panel lights not working?

    Hey Guys,
I just picked up my new 1982 Land Rover 109 ex MOD 12V and the water temp, fuel gauge and panel lights are not working. The crazy little glove box light works. Any ideas? Everything else is great!
    Thanks Guys

I'd start by checking the power going out of the fuse block with a test light and cleaning the terminals very well both switched and unswitched. The next step would be to see if something is unplugged behind the dash. Once you get your hands on a wiring diagram which I'm sure someone can provide I'd probe the wiring with a test light to see if you have broken wires somewhere.
