1970 Range rover, one of the first!

Went to a rover junkyard today to get some series parts and came across this beauty. 1970 with a build number in the 300's. Thought some folks would like to see it.

Me too please. I am looking for the metal upper brackets that hold the wood finisher on on RRCs 1989 on. Did you happen to notice any wood trimmed 89s when you were there please?

Look forward to the contact details.

The early RR looks in good condition from that photo and should find a good home!

I wonder if he would be willing to trade a D1 for it.

Don't know what it is about the 3 door rangies but I want one bad.....

It would be nice to see someone grab that 1970 and get it back on the road / trail.

Yep. I snagged it. Bought it just a day after my post (a little over a year ago now). It has its original engine and drivetrain. Also many many 'A' suffix original parts. I restore 2 door Range Rovers and plan on performing a frame off resto on it as soon as I finish a '72 I'm working on. It's the 253rd Range Rover made.
