    F/S: 2006, LR3 (Discovery 3) HSE, Expedition Ready, 130,000miles

I am selling my much loved LR3 (Zara) to help fund my Ph.D. studies. She is a 2006, 4.4L, HSE, LR3 in Green.

The vehicle is higher on her mileage, but I have personally maintained this vehicle like no other LR3 in North America. There are only a few issues with which these vehicles are prone -- all of which I have addressed prior to them becoming an issue. For instance, the transmission fluid is usually sealed for life, but I have replaced the filter and the fluid to extend its life (all fluids have been replaced with Royal Purple fluids for greater duration and wear); the thermostat housing (which occasionally cracks) has been replaced -- and with it, the water pump, belt tensioners, and belt (just because I was in there replacing the thermostat housing); as the fuel filter cannot be changed, the fuel pump has been changed to avoid fuel supply issues. Oil changes are conducted every 5000km. New injectors have been fitted to increase spray pattern and fuel efficiency. I have recently reconditioned the air conditioning system, and she now has a new air-con. pump as well as condenser. She has had new 02 sensors front and back, as well as a new MAF sensor. ECM has been flashed with updated software to increase performance and fuel efficiency. No dents or rust.

    Additional equipment fitted includes:
    - Genuine Land Rover Snorkle,
    - Mud-flaps,
    - Remote and Radio controlled 12,000lb synthetic winch and genuine Land Rover hidden winch bumper,
    - Full size spare tyre,
    - 19" New Goodyear snowflake tyres all round (including spare),
    - 40" curved light bar plus work lights on every side,
    - Front HID spots,
    - LED lights all round -- including front spots, (all switching is remote controlled -- no holes drilled),
    - Genuine Land Rover front and rear light guards,
    - Genuine Front Runner roof rack with tool accessories for High-Lift Jack, Axe, and Shovel,
    - Anti Glare hood cover applied,
    - Waterproof, scratch resistant, canvas, made-to-measure seat covers from Exmoor trim ($1000 per set).
    - Tow pack and NATO-style ball hitch,
    - Full Land Rover floor mat set -- including Land Rover Carpet mats
    - Load liner fitted to rear cargo area.

The vehicle is a 7 seater, HSE, with Harmon Kardon sound system and includes the live 4wd monitoring system on the screen. All the usual HSE toys including, mini fridge, HD tow package, heated front and rear seats, heated front and rear screens, rear DVD package with headphone sockets, electric windows, anti-freeze wiperblades, bi-xenon adaptive headlights, etc.

Rotors are as new and brakes are at 80%. Recent air compressor replacement.

There is no other LR3 in Canada that has been outfitted or maintained to this specification -- hence the price. This vehicle is ideal for camping, trail work, exploring, and expedition events; she is a reliable and dependable vehicle for the oncoming winter. If you want extreme luxury and a hard working 4x4 -- there is, frankly, no other option. The vehicle has been gently off-roaded by myself (and I was national champion in the UK for 3 years running -- I know what I am doing!)

$18,000 in receipts (NOT including winch, roof rack, lights etc) and she comes with full service history.

    $15,995USD (firm)
