I am the owner of #808. Not much left of the original 109. I have changed the frame, the bulkhead and put in an NA 2.25 diesel. Had the truck for 20 years, will mostly get it completed when I retire...

I have 179 - fully restored and all good. only departure from original is the new disc brakes - wanted to be able to stop.
Couple of questions:
When I got my truck it had been sitting forever so I've done the normal things like pull the tank, radiator, etc. As I get deeper I noticed my original fuel pump is missing and there is a replacement pump sitting where the battery would normally go under the hood. There is one line coming in from the tank and one line going out to the fuel bowl/filter.
Since my tank has been refreshed, and I have a new sender, and pick up, I figure I might as well replace the line from the back and go back to the correct pump.
So here are my questions.
Diameter of fuel line that I should get (3/8 or 5/16)?
The original pump looks like it had two lines coming in and one going out. Is this correct? Where does the second line come from?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
The Fuel Pump should be mounted inboard starboard rail forward of the gas tank, under the floor. The Battery is mounted under the drivers seat. The original fuel pump was a dual pump.
