Well, the time has come to sell my 1966 Series IIa 88 Land Rover to a good home. I love the truck but, I need the space for another project. It runs well and has served my family for almost 11 years. Kids are off to college now but, I think this thing has been to just about every soccer and baseball field with the kids across the eastern half of Massachusetts.
Some specifics:
It is located in Winchester. MA which is about 10 miles north of Boston. Assuming you're relatively close, you could drive it home but, if you need to go on the highway for any distance, it would be best to trailer it. I take it down to the Cape every summer to bounce around down there and it has no problem cruising along at 45 - 55 mph (can be a little loud) but, in highway traffic, it can get a little hairy with other drivers not appreciating the "legacy" of a heritage Land Rover. I'd like $25,000.
