    Jeff,

I seem to remember reading in the RN Newsletter about a string of points and condensor failures that you had.

As for the reliability of electronic ignition systems, I have a 91 Montero with 280,000 miles. Original distributor, modulator, and coil.

If the reliability of my new Series electronic ignition proves to be less than expected, have no doubt that I will return to the points system. But why not give EI a chance?
