On a Series III, does the emergency brake boot go inside the opening where the emergency brake lever exits or does the boot go on the out side of the base of the emergency brake lever?

Mine goes inside, and that seems to be what I see the most...which by no means makes this an authoritative answer Im anxious to hear what others say
A while ago someone posted that it is an inny and that the reason so many folks have a ripped parking brake boot is because they make it an outy and it isn't designed for that much movement.

I have an iny and my wife drives an Audi
According to our Series III guru Les, "iny" is proper as fitted from Land Rover.
Iny. From experience, If its an outy it does rip on about the second pull...

Inny, It is somewhat protected from the occupant this way. That being said, watch out for it. The kwality of rubber is suspect on new parts as mine ripped in just under a year. Going to make my own for the next as a good wintertime job.
