    Default Front lamps

Is this the correct factory configuration for a 1964 Series 109?

    1. Both outer and inner are glass.
    2. Outer is amber and beehive.
    3. Inner is clear and flat-ish.

I've found a few on Ebay, but if someone has some for sale, I'd like to talk. I need all four plus chrome rings.

    Thanks

64 would originally have had clear beehives on the turn signals not amber, though its a common modification to make them amber.

I asked the same question and was told the they are supposed to be both clear glass covers.

I'm no lens expert. My '63 SIIA 88" has both clear; 3 of the 4 lenses are original to the best of my knowledge. One of the OEM beehives has turned a lovely shade of palest lavender with age.

As Ike mentioned, I have all clear glass lenses in my 66. Beehives on the turn indicators, and flat glass for the parking lights. While Amber was a common modification to allow other motorists to see the turn indicators easier, a perfect restoration would have all clear lenses.
