Invest a weekend and ~$150.00 for a top end gasket kit. I've completed 2 head gasket jobs... 90 RRC and a 99 P38... both are still running.Originally Posted by bluerover95

plan to have it done. the truck is approaching 200k may decide to do a rebuild as well.
Overdrive
Use the new composite gaskets and stretch bolts. Just order the kit. You don't need any other glop except for 4 small dabs of silicone.
Hope it's just head gaskets and not something worse.
