Thread: Sill channel / Side rail / Side frame availability?

Question Sill channel / Side rail / Side frame availability?

Hi. I'm replacing the chassis on my '67 Series IIA 88" and after (eventually) removing the bulkhead I noticed the join between it and the side channel/rail/frame (seems to be called any number of things) was totally shot. Rusted together with the tie bolt - on both sides.

Rovers North have said those parts are now obsolete. I've found a company in the UK that make replacements but wondered if someone has any dimensional info or a template I can use to make my own. They don't seem to be overly complex but obviously serve a purpose!

Any info / help would be greatly appreciated.

Were you able to get a photo of it? I will be in your shoes one of these days and wonder if mine will also be rusted out.

I believe RN has some used ones, also.
