Linus that is a beauty! Where did you find it?

I have always loved the 109 pickups. I finally got my 66 in 2007. I have just started the tear down, and got down to the frame (which is actually in quite good condition) but got pulled away on my MGB project. MGB is getting a new engine (a turbo Supra engine).

66 IIA 88" Station Wagon (sold)
    66 IIA 109" Pickup (Restomod, 5MGE, R380)
67 IIA 109" NADA Wagon (sold)
    88, 2.5TD 110 RHD non-hicap pickup

-I used to know everything there was to know about Land Rovers; then I joined the RN Bulletin Board.

It came out of elkhorn slough near moss landing, Ca. I think it needs to be called swamp thing, since it was basically in a swamp.

This one has been listed on Craigslist in NH for quite a while. Looks like it could be a good donor for body parts and likely needs a significant amount of work. Given the amount of time that it has been listed...maybe the seller would go down on the price...always hard to tell on these things.

Anytime you want to take a drive and check it out let me know...I will probably be there all week this week cleaning it up - A LOT of dirt, pine needles and wasp nests.
I saw it today while in Upperville!!

Here is a Series III I just found in Panama City, FL on I98. It had a few weathered notes on the windshield with people looking to buy it. Any one know who it might belong to?Click image for larger version.

Linus- Awesome Rover! Congrats! I like the tow rig as well......I'm a fan of the 70's Fords and I have a couple of those trucks.
