Does anyone have any leads on a dog barrier for a Series IIa 109 station wagon? Our Berner seems to think it is fun to climb into the passenger compartment while we are driving down the road. Our two year old likes the company in the back seat but Mom and I are less than impressed.

Keep em' safe in a crate while in the vehicle. Berner = very large crate. They are safer in a crate secured to the floor than bouncing off the various sides, roof, or "dog shield" in a crash. You love the brute put it in a crate for traveling,

I made this out of 2x2x.125 steel mesh after my German Shepherd figured out how to open the rear sliding windows. Clever b*tch.

The mounts are designed to work with existing holes in the SIII 109 Station Wagon. Barrier separating the cargo area from the center seating is quick-disconnect and can be removed and reinstalled in a mater of seconds, should I need to carry long cargo back there:

The only drawback is that I can't use the bench seat framework in the rear tub with this setup, though I still put the bottom cushions on the wheelwells so she (the dog) has something comfy to sit on.
