Panel Lights '66 109

Would someone give me instructions on how to remove the panel light bulbs that backlight the instruments?

I need to replace them, I've tried a number of options to remove without success and don't want to damage anything.

Should be very straight forward after you've pulled the dash panels. I think I remember twisting them a 1/4 turn and then they were out,

finally figured it out, the panel bulb holders "snap" in place by the fingers, see attached photo

really easy once you know how, now all my instrument lights work.
