Gear box

I assume upon draining the gearbox,it could or should be filled from the top as long as its not filled above the smaller fill pug on the left side, correct ? In other words it doesn't need to be filled from the side does it?

if your top's open just remove the side fill plug and pour in until it reaches the side hole. or put the top on and hose it to the side 'til it comes out
