    Hi
Has anyone found a way to put a high-back front seat in a series that allows the botom part to remains detachable as the original?

I'm pretty happy with my Trackers High backs...mount on original frames and the bottom is removable.

The front seats and seat rails from a defender will fit and the bottoms pop off to get access to under seat storage.

              High back seats

We installed Exmoor Trakkers and Classic High Back seats in our 109 and we are very happy with them. Our happiness will increase once the seat heaters are connected in time for winter...

Yep, trakkers are what you want. I have them and love them. You will need a set of the original frames and slides to go with them.

Which heated seat kit did you go with(does it come in a trakkers seat or did you install the heated element yourself)? What is the amp draw on it? Any pics of your set up?

We ordered the seat heaters at the same time as the seats so the heating elements were installed by exmoor at the factory. They shipped with complete wiring harnesses. I don't have them in front of me now but PM me with your email address and I'll send you pictures and info.
