Gas tank from 109" (1982) RHD rear tank

    Hi all,

I recently had my gas tank resealed, only to find out it had rusted out around the round opening on the bottom.

Not sure where the whole is, but it wont hold gas. Its probably underneath the protective plate.

    I'm replacing the tank.

If anyone wants the used tank to try to fix it, first $50 plus shipping from Northern Virginia takes it.

    Sincerely,
    Chris

I happen to have the rear tank for a 109, it was a diesel truck, no rust at all.

Thanks for the offer but have already purchased a new britpart one -- though it has an extra opening on it.

Anyone know what it is for?

      A return line?

It is a universal (Diesel/Petrol) tank, so yes, it is for a fuel return from the injector spill rails.
