Anyone know what those semi-triangular peices of plate are below the intake elbow? I just found one in the back of my SIII and I don't know/remember what it is.

Can't tell from the photo if they are 'bent' at the top or if it's just a trick of the lighting.

If they're unbent, (that is, just one flat surface), looks to me like it's two corner brackets. The galvanized trim that goes on the tub to hold a tailgate assembly (straight edge toward the tailgate, triangular side toward the tail lights).

If they're 'bent', then I have no idea.
