Does anyone know who might sell a "bikini" top for an 88? I have looked at Rovers North and other places with no luck.

Thanks in advance.

Didn't Exmoor offer something like this?

Yes! Badger does have it on their site. Somehow I missed it when breezing through there earlier. Thanks.

Do you know what it would cost to have RN order one?

Thanks.

So what supports the bikini top ...custom rollbar or hoop?

The front hoop of a soft top supports the rear and the front attaches to the windscreen just like a soft top does.

Nope. In this case its a type of canvas referred to as "Mohair Canvas" and shortened to just plain old "mohair." Pretty durable material for a convertible top, but its expensive. Commonly found on 356's, merc's, and jags.

Get a Jeep CJ bikini and a windshield frame mount. Should run you about $75 bucks total for both :thumb-up:

Have you done this? If so, pictures please! I gotta believe most owners would be interested since you can get a Jeep bikini for about $50.

Rumor has it the top/sides will begin to flap if you don't have the appropriate hardware for that runs on top of the doors. Any truth to this? Trying to see if the custom bar I have in the works will function as I have hoped.

British Pacific has carried them for a few years now. They require the soft top hardware from the first hoop forward.

I must have missed this thread when it first came out...

Allwheeltrim.co.uk (http://allwheeltrim.co.uk/series-2&3.html#Series-2&3)sells them as well:

Has anyone seen a canvas truck cab? I would think this would be an ideal setup if you're into the bikini top thing. Roll the back up and it's basically a bikini, roll it down when it's raining. I think I remember a custom setup like this but nothing made in mass.

Badger makes one also for the price of your second born.
I think if you had a bikini top and a fume curtain you could make that work

I have an All Wheel Trim canvas pick up cab on my 109 and am really happy with it. After eight years, mostly in the California sun, I had to have some stitching replaced last week for $40.
