weber 34ICH rebuild

Hi All,

A friend just assisted me in rebuilding a Weber 34ICH for my 1982 109" RHD 2.25L Petrol.

However, fuel gets to the Carb, but nothing gets inside main chamber.

What am I missing? What can I try?

binding float, keeping float valve closed? There is a tiny strainer in the inlet also. check that it isn't clogged. I hate that carb.
