My 1990 range rover is rolling in park. I just had the viscous clutch replaced two months ago. I was told that this is a symptom of clutch failure, is this true? It was just replaced!! Or is there an adjustment that needs to be done to the vc or, did he do a crappy job on the clutch ?

Either the VC has completely failed, or you may have a broken CV joint.

Is this on a slight incline or a 1:10 hill?
A lever to the right of the drivers seat should be applied when parking on a hill, easing undue pressure on the "park" feature of the gearbox.

slight hill, It it kind of bumb rolls, when i first got the truck about five years ago, i did not do that it park. when the vc started to go thats when it started to roll. after it was replaced i thought it would take care of the issue. i also found out today that it will not go into 4x4. i can feel what i think is it locking when i put it in low gear, but it only spins the rear tires when i get off road with it.

possibility of broken front axle shaft and or cv joint comes to mind.

Or a rear half shaft. It's normally the long one.
