A Lucas part is a Lucas part is a Lucas part! Congratulations

I once "borrowed" a Sunbeam Imp distributor for my Rover just to get home. It worked for a short while.

For some reason your post title reminded me of an old hymn - but the words just needed a bit of re-rover-writin'

Go drive it up a mountain
        Over the hills and everywhere
Go drive it up a mountain
        the Rover runs again!
        1958 107 SW - Sold to a better home
        1965 109 SW - nearly running well
1966 88 SW - running but needing attention
