Does anyone have a solution for a Series 2 carb replacement? I know the
Webers, Zeniths are used for 2A's. But mine is on the Passenger side
with the linkage across the firewall to it. Do I have to make a new
linkage? How about the mount onto the intake? Will they bolt on?

By passenger side do you mean the left side of the vehicle or the right, when standing at the rear looking to the front? I am assuming you have a RHD where the steering wheel is on the right side of the vehicle, yes?

The zenith and webers linkages are about 90 deg offset from the solex. There is an adapter for making this change to mount it to the manifold and orientate the carb linkage correctly. As far as the accelerator linkages from the pedal to the bell crank I'm not sure what the differences are if any.

Simple, buy a rebuilt solex. Carburettor Exchange in the UK does excellent rebuilds. Single Weber is anemic and kills performance and the Zenith has warping issues.

Port side. Your carb must be on the port side or we just have to get some pictures.
