it's funny how true this is. have a clock in the garage, not an LR/RN clock though... might have to look into these. diggin' the "gauge'" design.

i don't see the diameter listed, any measurements?

I'm not buying anyone any Chinese crap for Christmas this year.

ah, I was thinking these were clocks for inside the trucks. That said, if you want to cool vintage clock for your rovah, do a search on ebay for MIG clocks....these are the old wind up clocks that they used to put in the russian fighters. They are like a 36 hour wind up clock and can be had with all sorts of additonal mission timers etc. Would look very good in a series truck.

I have one that looks like this...though mine needs some repair work:

If you want one similar to the mig clock but made by manufactures of rover instruments here is a Jaeger:

it on ebay for $455. You can also buy CJ7 clocks new on Amazon for less than $70.

Clocks are 12 - 5/8" dia x 1- 3/4" thick.

Clock on the garage wall??? Major mistake. Knowing when it's dinner time is NOT conducive to getting any Series Rover project completed.

I think a Series themed Rovers North beer chest would be far more useful.

Clock face design by Thompson Smith Rovers North and is printed in the USA.

JOAhh, spin it the other way, you could make one of these as your main kitchen clock and then you'll know you only have so much time left to start working on the Land Rover!

I've got 2 wall clocks in my shop, but since I use the shop as a "decompression chamber" I never look at them.:D

Couldn't agree more. I also have a rule that cell phones are not allowed in the garage... similar to the camping/canoeing rule...:nono:

cheers, mike

and where are they "manufactured" or "assembled"? Quartz movement is from China, on the back of each clock says, "Made in the USA".

You all and your garages! Any day now (tomorrow, by some reports) there'll be no desire for clocks, cell phones, etc., under my bare deciduous shade tree as I'll be doing everything as quickly the Rover god permits. No time to dawdle as long as fingers aren't completely frozen stiff! :D

That said, I really do like the that gauge clock. Nice work, Thompson!

(Judging by how little I got done on the Rover during the warm seasons, we'll see if I make any progress this winter.)

why?

because the time outside the garage has the cell phone welded to my head for business - so I prefer a little sanctuarial relief on occasion...man needs rules.

well said, however, phones and land rover clocks are still allowed in my garage.
