I had a problem with brakes on the right front corner. Popped off the drum and discovered that it was down to the shoe.

So now I need brakes and at least one front drum.

Should I do both at the same time?

Also in the process of testing the brakes the rear brake line went.

You should always do both sides at once.

I would definitely look at the other side and see if it has also worn to the metal. If not then find out why one side did and the other didn't. If the other side seems fine you may - may be able to get away with doing one side but I wouldn't recommend it.

Brake shoes are sold in axle sets, so do both sides. If the other drum is good, you don't need to change it. I have a set of RN ProLine brake shoes for the 11 brakes for sale cheap if you need them.
