I don't know it off the top of my head, but there have been a few threads on this that list PNs for both 7:1 and 8:1 heads. type "spark plugs" or spark+plugs into the advanced search area (make sure you select technical forums for series I, ii and iii) and you'll find it. Good luck!

AC Delco R44XL do it for me as they are as close to the old champion spec as you can get.:thumb-up:

Hi, please see this link:

http://www.fourfold.org/LR_FAQ/Series/FAQ.S.alt.parts.html

There you will find what you are looking for.
Besides, the Land Rover Series III parts catalogue dated June 1988 recommends:

RTC 3570 NGK
Suitable for early 8.13:1 and 9.35:1 compression ratio engines.
Equivalent to Champion N12Y.

I use Champion N12Y in Mexico, I do not have many choices, but they are fine, the engine is very strong, starts right up, I have a Weber 32/36 DGAV with Pierce manifold as well. I do not want to hack your thread, so I will start a new one on these carbs.

What mileage are you getting?

Cheers from Tampico, Mexico
