My daughter'$ wedding force$ $ale of my newly aquired Land Rover. The previous owner was ML-ENGR and he has kindly allowed me to use his original links and photos.

I've done a couple of things to this truck in the 9 months that I have owned it. It has new brake drums on both front wheels. I had to add a new choke cable (non-original) as the original had no handle and I just got tired of using pliers. (I do have the original if you want to restore). I updated the fuse block to a new, more reliable model. I rebuilt the turn signal lever so it tends to be much smoother to operate now.

I will sell it for what I have in it...$13,500...I may go a bit lower as the wedding gets closer and my expenses increase even more.

The truck is now located in SC.

Let me know if you need more info.

From the pictures, that Rover is a steal at $13.5k. I think that's why a dealer is interested in it. ;)

Nice looking truck.

What is the red thing on the center dash?

that actually may be an ash tray

It is an ashtray...I have it but removed it...I'm not a smoker and didn't like the way the dash looked with it.

Stephen...I'll give you a call tomorrow.

Thanks.

You could also try Copley Motors. They deal in high-end (and high priced) vehicles, if you are going the dealer route. They're locating in Needham, MA. Don't know where you are.

You can see what I'm talking about in these links. I don't think either is particularly great and they're commanding good prices for their condition. If I recall that truck you have correctly, it was a real creampuff. Anyhow, links for what they're worth.

JackIIA...Thanks for the info.

It is a cream puff in my humble opinion...starts first time...every time...except when I forget to turn the key on prior to pressing the start button...runs great...much smoother ride than I had expected.

I love the car...I just need cash for my daughter's wedding. I will purchase another LR once I recover from the wedding's financial hit.

And I'm really just trying to break even...not profit...wouldn't be right given ML-ENGR's hard work getting it to where it is today and the fact that I've owned it only about 10 months...LR owners are a great community...wouldn't want to tarnish that!

I'm sure you will sell it. I tried like hell to purchase this truck right before you. I was in the middle of a NAS 110 transaction and could not commit until I had cash in hand. I probably lost the truck to you before I could sell my 110. I've since picked up a 1974 with 13,000 original miles. I'll post your sale on my blog.
