    Ashtray for Series III

I am searching for information about the ashtray for the Series III. I am under the impression that it was offered as an option. Is this correct? I would also like to know how and where it was mounted. As always any help (pictures would be great) is greatly appreciated.

I was wondering what the four holes and anchors were in my dash. I had assumed that the PO had mounted a CB radio or something there. Guess It was a now missing ashtray. I am going to go more carefully through the spares now.

I also found both the build sheet and the ship and port manifest for this truck which the PO had tucked into the owners manual packet. Kind of fun.

Interesting, there's an ash tray on eBay right now, but it seems like a different style. Earlier (II/IIa?) or maybe non-original?

That is one of the older ones from a station wagon and are somewhat rare.

Thank you all for your usual helpful information.

Does anyone have a spare ashtray and the mounting hardware for a Series III that they would like to sell? If you do, please PM me.

After Paul and Judson, I know of someone also looking for a SIII complete assembly. So, if there are 2 out there, I might be able to pass the info along!

I have a new Siii ashtray assembly minus the bolts to attach it to the dash. I have not decided if I am going to use it or not. For the right price or trade I would part with it. PM me with offers if interested.
