seemed like I needed it too more than I thought..
there was a tooth in the gear oil that was drained..

it was really something special to unwrap I must say..

Since it is brand spanking new.. I am debating what to fill it with..

I ran Mt90 in my old box until it started leaking uncontrollably.
Im wondering if I just use regular old 75-90

I use 75/140, seems to cover all the bases for me.

You will find it a bit easier to do the swap if you remove the roverdrive before pulling the old trans/t-case out and putting it back on after the new one is in place. The clearance on the back of the roverdrive and the frame can get a bit tight as you're aligning the input shaft to the clutch plate. However, if you forget, it is still possible to squeeze in with the roverdrive on. Just be careful not to bend the clutch plate.

Have fun! :thumb-up:

What OD unit do you have?

If it is brand new it shouldn't leak, I'd fill it with Stalube GL4 and run it for a while, then change that out for whatever manual transmission lube you prefer.
