Any tricks to installing these?

Does anyone have directions they can share?

These are the Proline replacement, not genuine. I am concerned that, like some other aftermarket parts, they aren't exactly like the originals I will be taking off (which are quite ratty and rusted).

Also, they come with two different sizes of cams.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks - Ted

True, they aren't exactly like the originals. The components will install in the same order as the originals, but then you need to install the bolt in the end of the stud and tighten to get the adjuster cam to press onto the serrated end of the stud. The kits are usually universal (88/109), so choose the cam that matches the size of your original cams.

To remove the originals, grind the end of the stud off that protrudes through the cam then use a hammer & drift to punch the stud out.

Thanks, jac04!

I'll take any excuse to use my grinder - or my cut-off tool!

Greg sent me the Genuine LR instructions for these adjusters - now it all makes sense!

Thanks, Jim! I'm a real mechanical basket-case if I can't figure this out now.
