WANTED: some parts for an older 60mm speedometer.

WANTED: some parts for an older 60mm speedometer.

I need a glass and a dial and a few odometer wheels.
Do you have a broken one or any parts. The condition is not really important.
    Thanks,
    Kevin

      leafsprung,
      For a 1951 S1.
It was made by Jaeger (which became Smiths at some point)
It would have been a 1500 originally but a 1575 would work too considering what I am doing. They went to a larger diameter body later, so any 60mm body will do me.

      Do you have any bits?
      Kevin

There's a S1 speedometer on eBay right now:

And this one seems like it may be for a Series I as well:

I'm not sure how the part #s compare with what you're looking for.

morgant - those speedos are for later trucks. 51 had the small speedo. I have a parts speedo Im not sure the wheels are readable. It should have the glass though. Just leftovers from rebuilding my speedo.

Good to know! Hence, the 1500/1575 part # being much earlier than the 3391 that those were, correct?

              leafsprung, your msgbox is full.

              Any pics of the wheels?
Do you have a dial face? The condition of the printed numbers is not that important at the moment.
