Hello all, I have a 71 88'' that I spent all day Saturday putting new shoes and return springs, along with brand new drums all around. After completing everything and taking it out for a spin I noticed that the rear brakes were smoking. It was hard for me to get the drums on in the first place, but I was still able to turn each wheel off the ground when it was on the jack stands. I know I need to bleed the whole system still but any thoughts on why they would be so sticky? Also I noticed that there were only two return springs on all the wheels except the passengers front which had 3. I am not sure if this was just a mistake on the previous owners part??? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
