Water pump

Was the water pump painted the same color as the block at the factory?
I painted mine the same color but it looks odd ?Was it painted black maybe?

So after installing the pulley,fan and hoses,I realized what was missing visually in the color scheme.

Well ,the hoses were black and I painted the pulley and fan blades black. My block hadnt been green in 48 yrs with fresh paint it seem like too much green until the black was on it. I had not seen many repaints I was just wondering what it should have looked like. That's all I was trying to say!

Is that blood or coolant drips on the fan?, With us rover folk , could be both....How many fingers did you start off with?
