    MAP Freewheel hub removal

I have MAP freewheel hubs on my '66 109. Does anyone have instructions they could share on how to remove the hubs?

    Trying to repair whats leaking.

Picture of the hub is attached.

Since you already have the bolts out just give it a rap with a piece of wood or soft mallet. Should start to break free.

It does move off slightly when persuaded with a mallet, maybe 3/32", but doesn't come free - feels like something is still holding it on.

Is there anything that needs to get disengaged, or do I just need to force it free?

The hub comes off in two parts. You need to get the very end of the hub off, the part that has the selector dial. It's basically a cap. Under that you'll see the castled nut that holds the second part of the hub to the axle shaft. Remove the nut and slide the second part of the hub off. It's very simple once you see how it works.
